Is your brand ready for the new year? As 2025 comes to an end, its time to do a quick brand audit to make sure you stay ready for 2026.
We grow, evolve, and change every year (some of us every month). Our business and brand’s do the same. As we wrap up 2025 and head into a new year, it is important to take a second to check in and make sure your brand is consistent with where you want be to growing towards. Do you have the same values? Is your voice aligned? Are you targeting the same ideal clients?
Go through this brand audit checklist to see if you are ready for 2026.
Hopefully you say yes! The goal is to grow every year, and growth comes with change (don’t worry, change doesn’t have to be a bad thing). Maybe your solo-biz grew into a team of people. Perhaps your values and mission has shifted into a new direction. Or maybe you added in new services that target a new audience.
When your business evolves it is important to evolve with it. You know your grandma that has the tv remote covered in tape because she hasn’t joined the 21st century? Yah, don’t let that be you. Use these next few weeks to sit down and make your 2026 business plan. If branding is in that plan you want to start now (not in January) so you can start the year off ready and stress free.
You spent 2025 discovering who your target audience is, but are you reaching them? Your brand voice and visuals should be a reflection of who your business is and the personality you want to come across. If not, it is time to update your brand voice, visuals, and strategy you can continue to grow and reach those client.
Are you a yoga studio with a beige color palette and a lotus flower logo you found on Canva? Or a personal trainer with a dumbbell in your logo? A wellness coach with a sun and script font? I’m not saying there is anything wrong with following the trend, but it won’t help you stand out. Your brand should reflect who your business is, it’s values, and how you want to be seen in your industry. Don’t be afraid to stand out and be different, that is what will set you apart and attract your ideal clients.
First, do you have a website? If not, it’s 2025 (almost 2026) and your website should be a place your business lives 24/7 so you don’t have to. Now, if you have a website: does it match your visual identity and showcase your current services? Is it easy to navigate and clearly show who you are, what you do, and who you do it for? These are key things in your website and if you want to start the new year off strong, you want to get that website build on the books.
If you think it’s time for a brand refresh, but aren’t sure. Book a quick coffee chat & brand audit so we can dive into your brand and set up for success in 2026.
